Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Swift Framework plugin for WordPress versions prior to 2.7.32
Description
The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in several of the plugin's shortcodes, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 2.7.32, update to version 2.7.32 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the shortcodes that allow user-supplied attributes to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Fix
XSS
