CVE-2024-26046

CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier
Description The issue is related to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be abused by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim’s browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability is also associated with insufficient protection of the web page structure, which could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent exploitation of the stored XSS vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable form fields to minimize the risk of malicious script injection. Avoid using vulnerable fields in the affected Adobe Experience Manager versions until the issue is resolved.
