5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier
Description The issue exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure. Exploitation may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. This stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability could be abused by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim’s browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field.
Recommendations For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier, consider disabling the vulnerable form fields until a patch is available. Restrict access to the vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the vulnerable fields in the affected forms until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
