Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The ShopLentor – WooCommerce Builder for Elementor & Gutenberg +12 Modules – All in One Solution plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.8.7
Description
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the
id attribute in the Horizontal Product Filter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 2.8.7, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Horizontal Product Filter feature to minimize the risk of exploitation.
