Description The issue is related to a Path Traversal vulnerability in the web component of Ivanti Avalanche. This vulnerability is caused by incorrect restriction of the directory path name with limited access. Exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. The vulnerability can be exploited by a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands as SYSTEM.

Recommendations For versions prior to 6.4.3, update to version 6.4.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the WLAvalancheService to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable web component until the issue is resolved.
