Description The issue is related to a Path Traversal vulnerability in the web component of Ivanti Avalanche. This vulnerability is caused by incorrect restriction of the directory path name with limited access. Exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands with SYSTEM privileges.

Recommendations For versions prior to 6.4.3, update to version 6.4.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the WLAvalancheService to minimize the risk of exploitation.
