Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, specifically in the davinci mmc component. The issue arises from the lack of a check on the size of the data to be transmitted, which can cause a kernel panic when the size exceeds the sg miter's length. To address this, the number of transmitted bytes is limited to sgm->length.
