Description The issue is related to the dmaengine component, specifically the idxd module, in the Linux kernel. It allows changes to be made when the device is enabled but the wq (work queue) is disabled. The current code permits this change, but it should only be allowed when the device is disabled. The vulnerability can potentially allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code.
