Description The issue is related to overflows in the compensate() functions of the Linux kernel's iio chemical bme680 driver. There are cases where bit shifting operations can cause overflows of variables. These implications were initially discussed and mentioned in the log message of Commit 1b3bd8592780, which added support for the Bosch BME680 sensor.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
