Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Themesflat Addons For Elementor plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.1.1
Description
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in the Themesflat Addons For Elementor plugin for WordPress. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's TF Group Image, TF Nav Menu, TF Posts, TF Woo Product Grid, TF Accordion, and TF Image Box widgets. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above can inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 2.1.1, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the TF Group Image, TF Nav Menu, TF Posts, TF Woo Product Grid, TF Accordion, and TF Image Box widgets until a patch is available. Additionally, limit contributor-level access and above to minimize the risk of exploitation.
