VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to a potential deadlock warning in the i2c component of the Linux kernel. When del timer sync() is called in an interrupt context, it throws a warning because of a potential deadlock. The timer is used to exit from wait for completion() after a timeout. Replacing the call with wait for completion timeout() allows removing the problematic timer and its related functions.
