Description
The vulnerability is related to the f2fs component of the Linux kernel and is caused by incorrect error handling. The root cause of the issue is related to the
do sys open and umount functions, which trigger a kernel panic when trying to repair the i current depth in a readonly filesystem. The vulnerability can be exploited to cause a denial of service. The f2fs evict inode function is triggered, which checks if the inode is dirty and triggers a kernel panic if it is.Recommendations
