The issue is a stack overflow that allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted POST request. This is achieved through the
PPPOEPassword parameter in the fromAdvSetWan function.Recommendations
For Tenda FH1206 version 02.03.01.35, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
fromAdvSetWan function and avoid using the PPPOEPassword parameter until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
