Description The issue is related to an integer underflow in the nsc rle decode() function of the FreeRDP client. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. The vulnerability is associated with connections to servers using the NSC codec.
Recommendations For FreeRDP versions prior to 3.5.0, update to version 3.5.0 to resolve the issue. For FreeRDP versions prior to 2.11.6, update to version 2.11.6 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the use of the NSC codec (e.g., use -nsc) until a patch is applied.
