Description The issue allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. This is possible due to a lack of sufficient file validation in the render svg function via the SVG widget.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 5.7.2, update to a version that fixes the issue with the render svg function to prevent arbitrary file reads. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the SVG widget or disabling the render svg function until a patch is available.
