CVE-2024-43904

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved by adding null checks for the stream and plane variables in the dcn30 apply idle power optimizations function. These variables were previously assumed to be null, but they were used later in the code without checking if they were null, potentially leading to a null pointer dereference and causing a crash. The null checks ensure that stream and plane are not null before they are used, preventing potential crashes.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
