Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Google Chrome versions prior to 124.0.6367.60
Description
The issue is related to an inappropriate implementation in the Extensions component of Google Chrome, which may allow a remote attacker to perform UI spoofing via a crafted Chrome Extension. This could potentially lead to unauthorized access to confidential information.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 124.0.6367.60, update to version 124.0.6367.60 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of extensions in Google Chrome until the update is applied.
