Description
The issue is related to a logic error in the code of the
ppmp unprotect buf function in drm/code/drm fw.c, which could lead to memory corruption. This memory corruption can result in local escalation of privilege without requiring additional execution privileges. User interaction is not necessary for exploitation.Recommendations
