Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Piotnet Addons For Elementor plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.4.26
Description
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's widgets due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 2.4.26, update to a version higher than 2.4.26 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's widgets for users with contributor-level access and above until a patch is available.
Fix
