Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The 140+ Widgets | Best Addons For Elementor – FREE plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.4.3
Description
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's widgets. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, which will execute when a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 1.4.3, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue to prevent Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
