Description The issue is related to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the JKit - Banner widget, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages. This can lead to the execution of injected scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.6.4, update to a version that includes the necessary security patches to address the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.
