Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Jeg Elementor Kit plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.6.3
Description
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Testimonial Widget Attributes due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 2.6.3, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Testimonial Widget Attributes until a patch is available.
Avoid using the Testimonial Widget Attributes in the affected plugin until the issue is resolved.
Fix
