CVSS v3.1
4.8
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Zimbra Collaboration (ZCS) versions prior to 10.1.1
Description:
A stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue exists in the "/modern/contacts/print" endpoint of Zimbra webmail. This allows an attacker to inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of the victim's browser when a crafted vCard (VCF) file is processed and printed. This could lead to unauthorized actions within the victim's session.
Recommendations:
For Zimbra Collaboration (ZCS) versions prior to 10.1.1, update to Zimbra Daffodil (v10.1.1) Patch Release to address the stored XSS vulnerability in the
contacts/print endpoint.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "/modern/contacts/print" endpoint until a patch is available.Fix
