Description
The issue allows an authenticated admin account to upload a PDF file containing malicious JavaScript into the target system. If the file is accessed through the website, it could lead to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack or execute arbitrary code via a crafted JavaScript to the target.
Recommendations
For version 3.6.30, consider disabling the file upload feature for admin accounts until a patch is available. Restrict access to uploaded files to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid accessing PDF files uploaded by admin accounts through the website until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
