CVE-2024-4635

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Menu Icons by ThemeIsle plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 0.13.13
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the add mime type function. This allows authenticated attackers with author-level permissions and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, which will execute when a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 0.13.13, consider disabling the add mime type function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to pages that may have been injected with malicious scripts to minimize the risk of exploitation.

Fix
