Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Post and Category Filter widget due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the user-supplied post types attribute. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions 1.0.3 and earlier, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Post and Category Filter widget to minimize the risk of exploitation.
