Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue concerns the Linux kernel, where a vulnerability has been resolved related to the drm/amd/display component. The problem was caused by directly using
state->fb->obj[0] without checking if the object is null, which could lead to using a null object of the framebuffer. To fix this, the code now retrieves the object from the framebuffer by calling drm gem fb get obj() and returns an error code if the object is null.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
