Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A deadlock issue in the
qcuefi acquire() function has been resolved. If the qcuefi pointer is not set, the original code would hold onto the lock, causing a deadlock if it was tried to be set later. The fix involves dropping the lock on the error path, which is what all the callers are expecting.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
