CVSS v3.1

4.7

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been identified where the DMCUB can intermittently take longer than expected to process commands, leading to a potential race condition. This issue arises when the old ASIC policy continues while logging a diagnostic error, which can cause a system hang or register accesses that timeout, resulting in an undefined display configuration state. The risk of this issue is minimal at higher interrupt levels.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
