Description The issue is related to an overflow from uint32 t to uint8 t in the Linux kernel's AMD display driver, specifically in the dmub rb cmd's ramping boundary which has a size of uint8 t and is assigned the value 0xFFFF. This has been fixed by changing it to uint8 t with the value 0xFF, resolving 2 INTEGER OVERFLOW issues reported by Coverity.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
