CVE-2024-47667

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel versions prior to the version that includes the fix for Errata #i2037
Description The issue arises when an inbound PCIe TLP spans more than two internal AXI 128-byte bursts, potentially corrupting the packet payload and causing associated applications or the processor to hang. The workaround involves limiting the maximum read request size and maximum payload size to 128 bytes. This errata and workaround are applicable only to AM65x SR 1.0, and later versions of the silicon will have this fixed.
Recommendations For Linux kernel versions prior to the version that includes the fix for Errata #i2037, limit the maximum read request size and maximum payload size to 128 bytes to mitigate the issue.
