Description A memory leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the exfat module. The problem occurs when exfat load upcase table reaches its end and returns -EINVAL, causing allocated memory not to be freed. Meanwhile, exfat load default upcase table allocates more memory, leading to a memory leak. This issue is related to the exfat create upcase table() function.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
