VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue is related to the drm/xe component, where user binds can map to engines that can fault, and faults depend on user binds completion, leading to a potential deadlock. To avoid this, a reserved copy engine is used for user binds on faulting devices. Additionally, bind queue creation has been normalized with a helper.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
