| Vector | AV:L/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:L |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Herd Effects WordPress plugin versions prior to 5.2.7
Description
The issue is related to a lack of CSRF checks in some bulk actions of the Herd Effects WordPress plugin, which could allow attackers to make logged-in admins perform unwanted actions, such as deleting effects via CSRF attacks. This could be exploited by a remote attacker to perform CSRF attacks.
Recommendations
For Herd Effects WordPress plugin versions prior to 5.2.7, update to version 5.2.7 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to bulk actions to minimize the risk of exploitation.
