Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
UltraAddons – Elementor Addons plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.1.6
Description
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via multiple widgets due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 1.1.6, update to a version higher than 1.1.6 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable widgets to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Avoid using the vulnerable plugin until the issue is resolved.
Fix
