CVE-2024-4876

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions HT Mega – Absolute Addons For Elementor plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.5.2
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the popover header text parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.5.2, update to a version that includes the necessary security patches to fix the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the popover header text parameter until a patch is available.
