Description
The issue is related to the function
formexeCommand() and is caused by a stack-based buffer overflow when handling the cmdinput parameter. This can be exploited remotely by sending a specially crafted POST request, potentially affecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information.Recommendations
For Tenda i21 version 1.0.0.14(4656), as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
formexeCommand() function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the cmdinput parameter in the affected API endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation.
