CVE-2024-49908

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description: A null pointer dereference issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. The problem occurred because the afb variable was assumed to be null at a certain point but was used later without a null check in the amdgpu dm update cursor function. This could have led to a null pointer dereference. The fix involves adding a null check for the afb variable.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
