Description:
The issue is related to a potential NULL pointer dereference in the
hx8357 probe() function in the Linux kernel's HX-8357 driver. This could allow an attacker to cause a denial of service. The "im" pins are optional, and a missing check in the hx8357 probe() function is the cause of the problem.Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
