Description: A potential null pointer dereference issue in the dcn32 acquire idle pipe for head pipe in layer function has been addressed. The issue could occur when head pipe is null. The fix adds a check to ensure head pipe is not null before asserting it. If head pipe is null, the function returns NULL to prevent a potential null pointer dereference.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
