Description:
The issue concerns the ext4 filesystem in the Linux kernel. When mounting the ext4 filesystem, if the default hash version is set to DX HASH SIPHASH but the casefold feature is not set, the mounting process exits. This problem affects systems without the casefold feature that attempt to use siphash.
Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
