Description:
The issue is related to the
nbd module in the Linux kernel, where the struct msghdr is not fully initialized, leading to potential security risks. The msg->msg get inq value can be uninitialized, causing issues. The problem arises from recent changes that added new fields to struct msghdr, which should be initialized to zero by default. This vulnerability could potentially impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information.Recommendations:
