Description: A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the setting of the server responding flag in the afs wait for operation() function. The issue occurs when the loop exits after receiving a response from the server that has been discarded, potentially resulting in op->server being NULL. However, the code does not check for this condition before attempting to set the server flag.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
