Description:
The issue is related to the
bio first folio() function in the Linux kernel's block subsystem, which can cause a NULL pointer dereference when the bio contains no data. This can lead to a denial of service. The problem occurs when bio first folio() calls page folio() on a NULL pointer, resulting in an oops. The fix involves moving the test for the end of the bio from bio next folio() to bio first folio().Recommendations:
