Description:
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, specifically in the scsi: fnic module. After a certain commit, it can happen that a work item is sent to an uninitialized work queue, which may prevent the item from being queued and any further actions depending on it from proceeding. This issue can break the rediscovery of Fibre Channel devices after a temporary fabric failure. A warning is observed while loading the fnic driver, indicating the problem.
