CVSS v3.1

| Vector | AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Linux kernel versions prior to 6.6.58
Description:
A null pointer dereference issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. The issue occurred in the drm/amd/display function, where a null check was previously performed, indicating that the pointer might be null. To fix this, an additional null check was added before dereferencing the pointer. This resolves a FORWARD NULL issue reported by Coverity.
Recommendations:
For Linux kernel versions prior to 6.6.58, update to version 6.6.58 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider adding additional null checks in the drm/amd/display function to prevent null pointer dereferences until a patch is available.
