CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description: The issue is related to the processor thermal driver in the Linux kernel, which uses pcim device enable() to enable a PCI device. This means the device will be automatically disabled on driver detach, making it unnecessary to call pci disable device() again. Recent improvements in PCI device resource management have exposed this problem, triggering a warning. The warning is related to disabling an already-disabled device.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
