Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description:
The issue is related to the iommu/vt-d component of the Linux kernel, where the
domain context clear() function incorrectly called pci for each dma alias() to set up context entries for non-PCI devices. This could lead to kernel hangs or other unexpected behavior. A check has been added to only call pci for each dma alias() for PCI devices, and for non-PCI devices, domain context clear one() is called directly.Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
