Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description:
A warning occurs when destroying 'cifs io request pool' in the Linux kernel. The issue is related to the
mempool destroy function and the init cifs function. The warning is triggered by the free large kmalloc function. The problem arises because 'cifs io request pool' is not created by mempool create(), so mempool exit() should be used to revert it.Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
