Description:
The issue is related to a potential use-after-free (UAF) in the
cifs debug files proc show() function in the Linux kernel's SMB client subsystem. This could allow an attacker to cause a denial of service. The vulnerability is addressed by skipping sessions that are being torn down to avoid UAF.Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
